1924 – 2015
Original Czech painter, justifiedly described as a painter of female beauty whose works stood out for the first time at the 1966 exhibition of surrealists in Berlin. The painter Kamil Lhoták described Lutobor Hlavsa as representative of magical realism who, in his paintings, confronts old masters in order to lend his works a distinctive painterly signature style. Hlavsa's oeuvre has been highly appreciated by both respected artists and art historians - professor František. Dvořák, professor Jiří Kotalík, professor Jaromír Neumann and others.
