Václav Březina

1862 – 1906

 Important Czech landscape painter who, in the beginning of his career as an artist, focused on realistic painting, based on the private lessons with professor Leopold Stephan. Later he fully developed his talent under the guidance of Julius Mařák and started to work in the spirit of Neo-romanticism. At the turn of the century he relocated to Mladá Boleslav where he established a private school.
